Perpedes leg orthoses for relief

Leg orthoses for relief serve to provide complete or partial relief of the leg. They transfer the treading forces through a walking frame via laterally running rails to a thigh support with a tubular seat. By means of an adjustable footrest, a dosable relief of the leg or a dosable load on non-injured parts of the body can be achieved. When using these relief orthoses, leg length compensation must be performed on the contralateral side.

Leg orthoses for relief are used when there is damage to bone/capsule/ligament structures of the lower leg/knee/distal thigh.
