WORKER-Line

The WORKER line combines safety with high quality.

Designed to be used in work safety shoes, WORKER², WORKER² CALCA, WORKER² RIGIDUS and WORKER² CPX are your safe companions in your working day. Due to the anti-static properties of the surface, base materials and adhesives, they fulfil the ESD requirements and are type tested and approved according to European safety regulations with different safety shoe manufacturers’ shoe models.

The WORKER line’s centrepiece is the orthotic shell made from the glass fiber composite material we developed and produce by ourselves in unisex widths. Due to its thermoplastic properties, it can be adapted to the foot simply and uniquely. High-quality and certified materials which meet Perpedes’ high quality demands as well as the work safety requirements offer the opportunity to easily process and use the WORKER line.

TYPE-TESTED FOOT ORTHOSES FROM PERPEDES FOR SAFETY SHOES

Wearing orthopedic foot orthoses can make a significant contribution to well-being in everyday working life. Especially occupational activities with classic risk factors such as standing and walking for long periods of time, heavy lifting and one-sided loads benefit from the use of a foot orthosis for safety shoes: They correct malpositions of the feet and relieve the musculoskeletal system. Thus, you also have a positive effect on knee, hip and back complaints.

DGUV RULE 112 - 191

The DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) rules for safety and health at work serve to prevent occupational accidents, occupational diseases and work-related health hazards. DGUV Rule 112 - 191 (formerly BGR 191) deals with the use of foot and knee protection and stipulates that orthopedic foot orthoses may only be inserted into occupational safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties of the safety footwear - such as antistatic properties and minimum height of the toe cap - are maintained and not impaired. Thus, even with the insert, the safety shoe complies with the requirements of the EN ISO 20345 standard.

The WORKER-Line foot orthoses have been specially developed to meet the high requirements for use in occupational safety footwear and are type-tested with numerous footwear models from the following manufacturers, among others, in accordance with valid standards:

For the specialist dealer (orthopedic technician/orthopedic shoe technician), the advantage is that he can supply the insoles in conformity with the specifications of the EU directives and the German employers' liability insurance associations (DGUV 112-191) without any further registration testing procedures.

In the download area of our online store you will find a current list of shoe models type-tested with our WORKER-Line foot orthoses.
